what is it?

winter clay camp is a full package of ceramics classes and co-working.
learn, create, and connect in our cozy clay studio this winter.

what’s included in the camp?

pottery wheel marble class

for the first time at our camp! we’ll explore the pottery wheel marble technique – mixing clays and colors to create unique patterns and textures.

pottery wheel class

learn the basics of wheel throwing – how to center clay, shape simple forms, and make your first cups or bowls.

trimming session

after your pieces dry, you’ll learn how to trim them to make smooth, balanced shapes.

hand-building class

you’ll also try hand-building – working with clay without a wheel. our teachers will show you how to pinch, coil, and shape clay into creative forms.

glazing session

you’ll finish your pieces with glazes, learn how to paint your works with with different colours. our team will guide you through every step before firing.

unlimited co-working

you’ll have unlimited access to our co-working clay studio to practice on your own. the studio is open mostly during the day and evenings, except during class times. our manager will share the weekly open hours in the group chat.

pieces made in classes are fired for free.

for co-working, it costs €10/kg for bisque firing and €12/kg for glaze firing.

you’ll join a warm community event with clay lovers and receive exclusive camp merch. we support and inspire each other – it’s all about creativity and connection.

what if i can’t join one of the classes?
no worries — just email us at kamishovka.ceramics@gmail.com and we’ll do our best to find a solution.

what is clay co-working?
it’s a chance to work with clay independently in our studio. before you start, we’ll give you a short introduction.
all materials and tools are included.
firing from co-working is paid separately.

i have no experience with clay. is it okay?
no problem — start with a class with a teacher to learn the basic techniques.

i already have experience and want to start co-working on the first day of camp. is it possible?
yes! we’ll give you a short studio introduction, and you can start working on your own right away.

when can i visit the studio?
you can come any time when there are no classes.
on weekends or late hours, please follow ruhezeit (quiet time) rules.

can i attend with my child?
yes — if your child is 14 or older, they need a separate registration.
if they are younger, they can join you in co-working (but not in classes) for free.

how much does firing cost?
pieces made in classes are fired for free.
for co-working, it costs €10/kg for bisque firing and €12/kg for glaze firing.

i will be absent for some days. is that okay?
yes, that’s totally fine — just book your classes considering your schedule.

do i need to register for classes?
yes, registration is required.
a few days after your purchase, you’ll get an email with links to book all your sessions.

my friend wants to join a class or co-working but not the camp.

that’s possible — your friend can buy a drop-in co-working hours separately.

will there always be a teacher in the studio?
teachers are there on certain days, but not all the time.
sometimes you’ll need to work independently, but we’re always available online for help.
