A little winter full of clay, creativity, warm drinks, and lovely people!
Description
Winter clay camp is a package of ceramics classes, cozy studio events, and co-working time. You'll learn different ceramics techniques, create your own pieces, enjoy time in the studio, and meet lovely people along the way. How booking works When booking the camp, you only need to choose your starting date (intro + handbuilding). Wou can book the rest of your classes later! 2-3 weeks before the camp starts, we'll send you a link where you can choose the dates that work best for you for all the remaining classes. Camp schedule Intro + handbuilding 21 december, 18:00–21:00 or 22 december, 18:00–21:00 Pottery wheel 26 december, 16:00–20:00 or 27 december, 10:00–14:00 or 27 december, 16:00–20:00 Winter studio gatherings from 28 december to 8 january, we'll meet at the studio for mulled wine, cozy conversations, small lectures, and time together. Trimming 9 january, 11:00–13:00 or 9 january, 16:00–18:00 or 10 january, 16:00–18:00 Glazing 23 january, 11:00–14:00 or 24 january, 16:00–19:00 Coworking You'll also have access to our studio to work on your own pieces between the workshops. Handbuilding coworking starts on 23 december Pottery wheel coworking starts on 28 december You can create new pieces until 17 january After 17 january, coworking is for glazing only All glazing must be finished by 7 february Early bird price: €440 (until 20 november) Regular price: €460 (from 21 november) Bisque and glaze firing for pieces made during classes are included in the overall price. Coworking firing fees: * €10 per kilo for bisque firing * €12 per kilo for glaze firing
Q&A and cancellation policy:
Our cancellation policy for Hand-Building Class (HB) & other: Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days in advance. For cancellations after this period, we may offer you the opportunity to join another class if we have available slots. Please note that cancellations made less than 7 days before the class are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. You may transfer the class/course to another person if you can't make it. Our studio is for adults. We allow children aged 14 and over to be accompanied by an adult, but both would need to book a place separately (except for Kids Clay Day where the recommended age of the participants is in the class description and depends on the class). We kindly ask you not to bring anyone who is not participating in the class or course, as our studio does not have enough space for comfortable waiting. How to prepare for the class: Consider wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. We'll provide an apron and all necessary materials for each participant. Gift Card: If you're interested in gifting this workshop, check out our Gift Voucher options. Our workshops occur monthly, allowing flexibility for scheduling. Perfect for birthdays or special surprises. Please note: Ceramics is a handmade process, and while we experience minimal issues in our studio, occasional imperfections can occur during production. If something happens to your work, don’t worry – we’ll always find a solution to remake or fix it together. We will store your work for up to 6 months after the class (date is marked on the bottom of the piece). After that, it will either be recycled or passed on to a new home.
