Butter Dish Class

Handmade butter dish for cozy mornings (beginner + advanced)

Description

About the Class: Join us for a cozy session where you’ll hand-build your own butter dish — a charming piece perfect for slow breakfasts and beautiful table settings. Our experienced teacher will guide you step-by-step through the process of shaping and decorating your piece — all in one relaxed and inspiring session. Come get your hands messy, play with clay, and create a little morning joy to take home with you. Level: Suitable for all skill levels — from complete beginners to those with some experience. Duration: Approximately 4.5 hours, including a short break. What You’ll Do: During the workshop, you’ll shape and paint your butter dish using special ceramic colors. After the initial kiln firing, we’ll finish your piece with a clear glaze. Your final piece will be ready for pickup in 3–4 weeks. Group Size: Small group format — up to 8 participants — so you’ll get plenty of guidance and space to create. What to Bring: No need to bring anything — we provide all tools, materials, and aprons. Just wear something you don’t mind getting a little clay on. Gift Card Option: Want to gift this experience? We offer flexible Gift Vouchers, redeemable at any of our monthly workshops. A thoughtful and creative present for birthdays, holidays, or just because. All classes are in English. Extra languages are shown next to the teacher’s name.

Q&A and cancellation policy:

Our cancellation policy for Hand-Building Class (HB) & other: Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days in advance. For cancellations after this period, we may offer you the opportunity to join another hand-building class if we have available slots. Please note that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. You may transfer the class/course to another person if you can't make it. Our studio is for adults. We allow children aged 14 and over to be accompanied by an adult, but both would need to book a place separately (except for Kids Clay Day where the recommended age of the participants is in the class description and depends on the class). We kindly ask you not to bring anyone who is not participating in the class or course, as our studio does not have enough space for comfortable waiting. How to prepare for the class: Consider wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. We'll provide an apron and all necessary materials for each participant. Gift Card: If you're interested in gifting this workshop, check out our Gift Voucher options. Our workshops occur monthly, allowing flexibility for scheduling. Perfect for birthdays or special surprises. Please note: Ceramics is a handmade process, and while we experience minimal issues in our studio, occasional imperfections can occur during production. If something happens to your work, don’t worry – we’ll always find a solution to remake or fix it together. We will store your work for up to 1 year after the class (date is marked on the bottom of the piece). After that, it will either be recycled or passed on to a new home.
