Description
About the class: The decorative focus of the class is carving, etching and stomping patterns that look stunning and yet are easy to make. During this class, you will craft two beautiful serving plates – one large and one small – designed for presenting fruits, tartelettes, oysters or whatever else you usually serve for a beautiful living. You have the option to create a matching set or experiment with entirely different techniques. Level: all skill levels Duration and timing: The class consists of two sessions: molding and glazing. Molding session: approx. 3 hours Glazing session: approx.2 hours During the first session, you will create your clay pieces, which will dry around 2-3 weeks before first firing. Then on the second session, you will be able to glaze your creation. There are various glaze options available, and you can choose a date that suits you. Number of Participants: The workshop will be held in a small group of up to 8 participants. Enjoy personalized attention in our intimate class setting. How to prepare for the class: Consider wearing clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty. We'll provide an apron and all necessary materials for each participant. Q&A and cancellation policy:
Our cancellation policy for Hand-Building Class (HB) & other: Full refund if cancelled at least 14 days in advance. For cancellations after this period, we may offer you the opportunity to join another hand-building class if we have available slots. Please note that cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled class are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. You may transfer the class/course to another person if you can't make it. Our studio is for adults. We allow children aged 14 and over to be accompanied by an adult, but both would need to book a place separately (except for Kids Clay Day where the recommended age of the participants is in the class description and depends on the class). We kindly ask you not to bring anyone who is not participating in the class or course, as our studio does not have enough space for comfortable waiting.
