2-Day Teapot Class
Description
Ready for your next pottery challenge? In this fun, hands-on two-day class, you'll create your very own teapot! You’ll tackle the challenge of making a multi-part form, making sure each piece fits perfectly together. On Day 1, we’ll start by designing your teapot shape on paper. Then, we’ll wheel-throw the body and all the pieces — like the spout and lid. After letting everything dry overnight, we’ll come back on Day 2 to trim and assemble your teapot. Teapots are the perfect mix of big and small thrown shapes, tricky trims, and careful assembly to make a functional (and beautiful!) piece. If this sounds like your kind of fun, come join us! Q&A and cancellation policy:
How to be prepared for the ceramic classes: Consider wearing clothes you don’t mind getting a bit dirty. We’ll provide an apron and all necessary materials for each participant. When can I pick up my work from the course? You can pick up all your works in 1-2 weeks after the final glazing class. Can I practice in the studio during the course? Yes, you can join our coworking option. Coworking membership is paid separately. Do I need to pay for materials during the course? No, all materials and firings are included in the course fee. Cancellation: You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 10 days before the start of the course. You can transfer your spot to someone else if you can’t attend the course. If, for any reason, you are unable to attend one of the classes, please let us know ( at least 48 hours in advance) and we may be able to find a solution for you. Age and Attendance Guidelines: Our course is designed for adults, but teens 14+ can join with an adult. Both need to be booked separately. We understand you might want to bring a friend or relative, but due to limited space at the studio, we kindly ask you to refrain from bringing extra guests to the classes.
