Welcome to Summer Clay Camp! The camp includes: – 3 ceramics classes (1 hand-building session + 2 pottery wheel sessions) – 1 glazing session and a final meetup – Unlimited access to our clay co-working studio – Full-time support from our friendly studio team All materials are included. The studio is yours to explore, experiment, and connect with others in the clay community. How it works: By booking the first class, you’re signing up for the full Summer Clay Camp. Once you’ve booked it, you’ll unlock access to the rest of the sessions — for free, they’re all included! Camp Schedule: First start hand-building session: July 5 — 10:00–14:00 or July 6 — 10:00–14:00 In this first session, you’ll be introduced to hand-building with clay — a fun and creative way to shape and build by hand, no wheel needed. We’ll show you the basic tools and techniques, and you’ll create a few simple pieces of your own. You’ll also get a tour of the studio, learn how everything works, and get to know your teachers and fellow campers. You’ll receive a link to book your next sessions after purchase. Next Clay Camp Sessions: Pottery Wheel 1: July 5 — 16:00–20:00 or July 6 — 16:00–20:00 or July 7 — 18:00–22:00 Pottery Wheel 2: July 12 — 11:00–15:00 or July 12 — 16:00–20:00 or July 13 — 11:00–15:00 Glazing session: July 26 — 10:00–14:00 or July 27 — 10:00–14:00 Final meeting: August 1 — 18:00–21:00 ✨ Extra Support Days: On July 15, 17, and 20, our teachers will be in the studio during support hours. You’re welcome to drop in if you want to continue working, ask for help, or get feedback. No need to book — just come by! Support Hours: July 15 — 18:00–21:00 July 17 — 18:00–21:00 and July 20 — 16:00–19:00 This camp is all about enjoying clay, learning new skills, and having fun in a friendly studio space. Frequently Asked Questions about CLAY Camp: • Can I join any day? Yes, you can join any day. • What is Clay Co-Working? It’s an option to work independently with clay in our studio. Before starting, we provide an introduction. All materials and tools are included. Firing works from co-working is paid separately. • I have no experience with clay. Start with a clay class with a teacher to learn the techniques. • I have experience and want to start co-working on the first day of camp. Yes, we will give you an introduction to our studio, and you can start independently. • When can I visit the studio? Anytime when there are no classes. On weekends or late hours, follow Ruhezeit (quiet time) rules. • Can I attend with my child? Yes, if they are older than 14, they need separate registration. If younger, they can join you in co-working (not in the classes) without additional fees. • How much does firing cost? Works from the class are fired for free. Co-working works cost €10/kg for bisque firing and €12/kg for glaze firing. • I will be absent for some days. Is that okay? Yes, just book your classes considering your absence. • Do I need to register for classes? Yes, registration is needed. A few days after your purchase, you’ll receive another message with links to book all your sessions. • My friend wants to join a class or co-working but not the camp. Your friend can buy a class separately or co-working hours as a drop-in. • Will there always be a teacher in the studio? Teachers are in the studio but not all the time. You might need to work independently sometimes. We are always available online for questions. During the camp, teachers will be in the studio on certain days to help you.
